American Traveler is seeking a multimodality CT Technologist with at least one year of registered CT and radiologic technologist experience and dual ARRT and SCRQSA certifications.

Details

• Hybrid role covering both X-ray and CT in an acute care hospital and a free-standing ER setting
• Shifts include Friday 6:30a-7p at main campus, Saturday 6:30a-7p, and Sunday 6:30p-7a at secondary site, with on-call rotation among staff at the ER location
• Patient care includes performing CT scans and radiographic exams for designated anatomical areas according to established practices
• One multimodality tech covers each 12-hour shift at the 11-bed ER
• Uses Epic charting system
• Radiation badge must be supplied by the agency

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist and in Computed Tomography
• ARRT (R) (CT), SCRQSA (R) (CT), BLS, and CPR certifications required
• Graduation from an AMA approved radiological technology program required
• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensed by the SC Radiation Quality Standards Association
• Must provide a valid Social Security Number and Driver’s License for consideration
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Radiation badge required, to be provided by the applicant’s agency
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Performs CT scans and general radiographic exams, including obtaining patient history and explaining procedures
• First-time travelers are accepted
• All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application and approval is based on facility needs
• Locals within 60 miles may be considered at a different rate
• Previous permanent or PRN staff must have a 1-year separation from the MUSC system before returning as a traveler
• Team coverage may require assignment to emergency response during hurricane season
• Scrub uniform is black pants with a teal top
• Four hours of pre-assignment online modules required
• Parking is free
