Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with at least 1 year of experience and ARDMS or CCI RCS certification for an acute care hospital assignment.

Details

• Work in an acute care hospital cardiology unit with adult patient population
• Day shifts are 5x8 hours with varied start times between 7:00 AM and 10:30 AM as needed
• Call required: 1 shift per week from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM and weekends from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM
• May be required to float to nearby affiliated hospitals
• Use of Epic EMR is required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Echo/Cardiac Sonography experience required
• BLS certification required
• ARDMS or CCI RCS certification required
• CA license must be in hand (no temporary or pending licenses accepted); license required if applicable
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Must provide two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years

Additional Information

• Must be willing to float within the hospital and to affiliated sites as needed
• Commitment to work 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day) is required
• RTO must be included at the time of application and is subject to approval
• Returned staff must have a minimum 3-month gap before being eligible to return
• Scrub color is royal blue for this unit

• Modules must be completed prior to start and annually
