American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years recent cath lab experience, required BLS, ACLS, and applicable cardiovascular technology registry certification.

Details

• Work in a cardiac cath lab with assignments possible in electrophysiology or cath holding departments
• Handles minimally invasive cardiac procedures including full-service electrophysiology cases
• Full-time, 4x10 hour day shifts between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Rotating weekday and weekend call estimated at 12 days per month
• Allied candidates may be considered regardless of distance from facility

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent cath lab experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Current RCIS, RCVT, or RCES required; graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology program
• Candidates with ARRT certification are not eligible
• VA or compact license in hand required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
• No prior license or background hits of any kind accepted
• Must successfully complete required fit testing; candidates unable to wear N95 respirator not eligible
• Two references required for consideration
• Copy of driver’s license and Social Security card required for consideration

• Duties focus on performing minimally invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures
• Potential floating among cath lab, EP lab, or cath holding as needed
• Pre-start modules required and must be completed before arrival
• Holiday coverage may be required
• No study material provided for tests; passing score is 80% or higher on required EKG exam where applicable
• Noncompliance with fit testing or failed exam will result in cancellation
• Time off (RTO) requests must be submitted and will be reviewed individually
