American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with Level 1 trauma and OR experience, ARRT certification, and at least 18 months of clinical expertise.

Details

• Work at a Level 1 trauma center with over 30 operating rooms, 6 ICUs, a 70+ bed emergency department, and approximately 700 inpatient beds
• Perform X-Ray imaging for extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, ER, and OR cases
• Handle trauma and surgical imaging, including use of C-Arm technology
• Utilize GE and Siemens imaging equipment
• Chart using Cerner EMR system
• Evening shifts, Monday through Thursday, 13:00–23:00 (4x10 hour shifts)
• Expected to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification required
• Active BLS certification (AHA & RQI accepted and must be current)
• Minimum of 18 months to 2 years recent X-Ray technologist experience in relevant clinical settings
• Experience in Level 1 trauma and operating room procedures required
• Proficiency with C-Arm, GE, and Siemens radiology equipment
• Experience with Cerner charting required
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited university
• IN or Compact license required if applicable and must be in hand for start dates within 2-4 weeks

• Must be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays if scheduled during the contract
• Policy allows up to 5 days of requested time off to be auto-approved
• Local candidates are accepted for allied roles, including this position
• All travelers may be required to float to different areas or nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
• Must have been separated from any perm or PRN role for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
