American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with at least 2 years of cardiac echo experience and BLS certification for a weekday role.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital cardiology department
• Position involves performing both ECHOs and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs)
• Cares for both adult and pediatric cardiology patients
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call shifts required
• Role may require floating within the hospital per policy
• Uses Epic EMR; experience within the last 12 months preferred but not required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac echo experience required
• 2 years of pediatric echo experience preferred but not required
• CCI (RCS) or ARDMS (RDCS) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience with the past 12 months preferred; if not, additional orientation hours will be required
• Ability to pass a Fit Test (men must be clean shaven if applicable)
• Valid state license required if applicable
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include performing transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms for adult and pediatric patients
• Candidates without recent Epic experience will undergo extra orientation
• First-time travelers and local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• All required certifications must be current at the time of consideration
• Holiday block or schedule requests will not be accommodated
• All requested time off must be declared prior to the start of the contract
• Proof of Social Security Number and driver's license required for onboarding
