American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for day shifts with ARRT, BLS, and CT certification and at least one year of recent experience.

Details

• Work in a CT scanner unit within a hospital radiology department
• Schedule is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Thursday through Saturday
• Position is a 13-week contract assignment
• Services both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Procedures include CT scans of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, as well as biopsy and drainage procedures
• Position may involve basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable, and C-arm procedures
• Experience with Toshiba / Canon Aquilion CT equipment preferred but not required

Requirements

• Current ARRT, BLS, and CT certification required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in CT required
• Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program
• State radiography license required if applicable
• No certifications may expire within 30 days of start
• Must not reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Responsible for performing diagnostic CT scans, some basic radiographic and OR imaging services under the direction of a radiologist
• Must demonstrate proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy and studies with or without contrast
• AHCA clearance is required for all Florida placements
• Return staff not eligible if worked as permanent staff at CHS within past 2 years
• RTO requests of less than 1 week allowed
