American Traveler is hiring an OB Ultrasonographer for a busy OB/GYN practice requiring ARDMS certification and experience in obstetric and gynecological ultrasound.

Details

• Outpatient OB/GYN physician practice setting
• Performs both obstetric and gynecological ultrasound exams
• Monday-Thursday 8:00AM-5:00PM, Friday 8:00AM-1:00PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Busy workflow with continuous patient volume

Requirements

• Current ARDMS certification required
• Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program
• Minimum 1 year of OB/GYN ultrasound experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Ability to operate ultrasound equipment and perform vital assessments
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures following accepted protocols as directed by physicians
• Educates and prepares patients for procedures to ensure optimal results
• Responsible for maintaining and cleaning ultrasound equipment and exam areas daily
• Assists with patient triage, preauthorization, and clerical support as needed
• Works effectively as a team member within the office
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills are essential
• Must maintain confidentiality and accurate department records
• No holiday, weekend or call coverage expected
