American Traveler is hiring a Central Sterile Processing Technician for a day shift assignment, requiring CRCST or NBSTSA CST certification and Epic EMR experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital Central Sterile Processing department
• Day shift schedule, 07:00-15:30, 5x8s
• One day per week and one weekend per month on-call required
• Process, assemble, store, and distribute reprocessed and disposable items and equipment
• Epic charting system is used

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CRCST or NBSTSA CST certification required (CST Certification via NBSTSA or NCCT only; required for MA locations, preferred for NH)
• At least one year of CSP experience preferred
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Flu vaccine is required; no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsible for pickup, assembly, processing, and distribution of medical equipment and supplies
• Reports to the Supervisor, Central Sterile Processing
• Parking may incur daily costs and is not validated in some locations
• Employees in Massachusetts must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard travel rates; locals within 60 miles receive a reduced rate
• Dress code and team structure will follow hospital policies
• Time keeping is managed via UKG/Kronos
