Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT/IEMA certification to work night shifts in a short-term acute care setting.

Details

• Night shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• Assignment in a short-term acute care hospital, primarily covering CT procedures
• Serves ED, outpatient, inpatient, and ICU patient populations
• May be required to float between hospital sites within the same system
• Procedures include IV starts, contrast administration, and biopsies
• Uses PACS system and the EPIC EMR, with EPIC experience required
• No on-call required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year CT Tech experience required
• Current ARRT and IEMA certifications required
• Valid state license required; license must be in hand at time of consideration if applicable
• Experience in ED, outpatient, inpatient, and ICU settings preferred
• Ability to perform IV starts, contrast studies, and biopsies
• Experience with EPIC charting required
• Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility
• References preferred within the last two years

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted
• Scrub color is navy blue
• Must be able to float between designated facilities as needed
• Facial hair must be compatible with fit testing requirements
• No more than 7 days of requested time off allowed per 13-week contract; no time off approved during the first week
• Permanent former employees must wait 1 year before returning as travelers
• Travelers may stay up to 12 or 18 months, depending on role, before a required break in service
• COVID vaccine or medical marijuana cards are not accepted
