Description

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with CA and ARRT licenses and at least 2 years of experience for a day shift position in a hospital-based setting.

Details

• Hospital setting in the Radiation Therapy department
• Day shift schedule, five 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Adult oncology patient population
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• 13-week assignment term
• Locals accepted at a local rate

Requirements

• Active California Radiologic Technologist (CDH) license required
• Current ARRT certification required
• Minimum of 2 years Radiation Therapist experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross only)
• Two professional references from the past year required
• Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of accepting an offer
• Epic charting experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility for travel rate eligibility

• Main responsibilities include delivering radiation therapy to oncology patients and maintaining accurate treatment records
• Orientation modules are completed via e-learning and vary by specialty
• Return staff policy requires at least 1 year interval before returning as a traveler
