Description

American Traveler is seeking a GI/Endoscopy Tech with at least 1 year of experience and Epic EMR proficiency for a day shift assignment in an acute care hospital.

Details

• Work in an acute care hospital's GI/Endoscopy unit
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
• 13-week contract assignment
• All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state as needed
• Epic EMR is used for documentation and charting

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent GI/Endoscopy Tech experience required
• Current CA license required if applicable
• LA fire card issued within the past 30 days is required
• Must provide SSN and DOB for consideration
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year within the past 3 years are required
• Must be able to commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day

Additional Information

• Former staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Returned staff may not be within 50 miles of the facility
• Modules are completed pre-start and annually, averaging 16 hours total
• Orientation includes completion of required modules recorded via Workramp
• All travelers must be willing to float within the state; refusal may result in termination
• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to different compensation rules
• References must be from supervisory roles such as charge RNs or leads
• Requested time off should be minimal and must be addressed before contract confirmation to avoid risk of contract termination
