Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a daytime operating room position requiring BLS and at least one year of recent OR experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital operating room setting
• Day shifts scheduled from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with call requirements
• 13-week contract assignment
• Adult and surgical patient population

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent operating room experience required
• BLS certification required
• Driver’s license required for consideration
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of start
• Perm address must be more than 50 miles from the facility
• No employment as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
• No employment gaps totaling 90 days or more within the last 12 months
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Participate in operating room procedures and assist the surgical team as needed
• Position includes call responsibilities outside of standard shift times
• Requests for time off must be less than one week in duration
• Holiday coverage may be required per department policy
• Returning travelers may not be considered if employed as CHS permanent staff within the past two years
• Local travelers within 50 miles are not eligible for this position
