American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist who is also able to perform x-ray and CT, with a minimum of 3 years' experience, for a rotating 12-hour shift assignment.

Details

• Position is based in a small, off-campus emergency department radiology unit
• Work with a diverse ambulatory patient population including pediatric and geriatric cases, as well as ambulance drop offs
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Staff is required to perform ultrasound, x-ray, and CT scans
• Shift times are 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a rotating schedule
• Three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend coverage and potential for on-call
• Uses EPIC EMR and PACS imaging system, with on-site applications training provided
• Uses GE and Siemens equipment

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as an ultrasound technologist with x-ray and CT proficiency
• ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification required and must be CT registry eligible
• Active WA DOH Radiologic Technologist License required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work mostly independently

Additional Information

• Orientation includes 2-5 days of training and two weeks of additional training prior to go-live
• Position involves working mostly independently with support available from RN, MD, NM, front desk, lab tech, and ER tech staff
• Holiday shift coverage is expected

• First-time travelers will be considered, but preference is given to those with travel experience
