Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist with active CA license, ARRT (T), and BLS certifications to work day shifts in a radiation therapy department.

• Work in a hospital-based Radiation Therapy department
• Day shifts, 5x8 hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 17:00
• Serving adult oncology patients
• Epic EMR system used; prior Epic experience preferred
• 13-week assignment
• Floating not specified

Requirements

• Active CA Radiation Therapist license required
• Current ARRT (T) certification required
• Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
• Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Ability to complete labs within 3-5 days of offer
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Must provide 2 supervisor references obtained within the last year
• Modules completed during orientation via e-learning
• Return staff must be gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only one holiday request off will be approved during the contract
• 50 mile radius rule applies for eligibility; local candidates accepted at a different rate
• Must state any background issues prior to consideration
• Must provide former manager name if returning
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing offer
