American Traveler seeks an experienced Surgical Technologist with Level I trauma, neuro, and complex ortho experience for a hospital operating room role.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital operating room
• Patient population includes neurosurgery, complex ortho and ortho spine, and bariatric surgery cases
• Three 12-hour day shifts per week, 8:30 am to 9:00 pm
• Weekend shifts and call coverage are required
• Use of Epic EMR is preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of operating room surgical technologist experience
• Experience in Level I trauma center and neurosurgery cases is required
• Complex ortho/ortho spine and complex general surgery experience required
• BCLS certification is required
• Prior travel assignment experience preferred
• ENT, GU, plastics, and burns experience is preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Duties include preparing operating rooms, assisting in surgeries, and managing surgical instruments and supplies
• Team-based environment with collaboration across multiple specialties
• Scrub attire required in compliance with hospital policy
• Weekend and call duty rotation applies
