American Traveler is hiring a Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist for a weekday acute care assignment requiring 3 years of MFM experience and current RDMS-OB/GYN certification.

Details

• Work in an acute care perinatal ultrasound setting
• Position is focused on maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) cases
• Assignment involves rotating between Santa Maria and San Luis Obispo locations
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Shift length is 8 hours per day
• Uses Cerner EMR system

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in perinatal and MFM ultrasound
• Active BLS certification required
• Current RDMS-OB/GYN certification required
• Active state licensure required at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted
• License required if applicable
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility

Additional Information

• Candidates will be expected to secure housing within commuting distance between Santa Maria and San Luis Obispo
• Orientation includes 12 hours at the start of the assignment
• MFM experience is required for this role
• Candidates may not have been employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities in the past year unless employed PRN via outside firms
