American Traveler is hiring an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a dual-site emergency and outpatient imaging role, requiring 2+ years of ultrasound experience and ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification.

Details

• Work in a free-standing emergency department with 18 beds and outpatient imaging services
• Average of 108 ED visits and 18 ultrasound studies per day
• Split assignment between two locations
• 12-hour night shifts: 9pm-7am Saturdays and Sundays at one location, 7pm-7am Mondays and Tuesdays at the second location
• On-call responsibilities and weekend rotation required
• Must float between assigned locations for scheduled shifts
• Uses Siemens Sequoia and Toshiba Yario 200 ultrasound equipment
• EPIC EMR, Epic Radiant RIS, and Philips iSite PACS used; Epic experience required or preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience required
• ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency in general, vascular, and GYN ultrasound as well as procedural imaging required
• Experience with EPIC, Epic Radiant, and Philips iSite preferred
• Must live at least 50 miles from the primary work location
• License required if applicable

• Department leadership provides support
• Initial orientation includes 1 day administrative onboarding and up to 1 week departmental orientation as needed
• Black scrubs required while on duty
• No trauma designation

• Required to work 75% of holidays
