American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with ARRT (R), SCRQSA (R), and 1 year of experience for an acute care assignment involving fluoroscopy and operating room procedures.

Details

• Position is based in a Level III Trauma acute care hospital
• Primary responsibility is for radiography/X-ray services with diagnostic imaging for adult and pediatric populations
• Procedures include fluoroscopy, operating room imaging, diagnostic in the emergency department, outpatient, inpatient, and orthopedic rotations
• Shifts are 5x8 hour days, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with on-call rotation including weekend coverage for fluoro, OR, diagnostic and portable imaging
• Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs
• Epic EMR is used; experience is preferred
• Radiation badge required; must be provided by the agency

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year X-ray technologist experience
• ARRT (R), SCRQSA (R), BLS, and CPR certifications required (AHA only)
• Fluoroscopy and OR imaging experience required
• Ability to provide a radiation badge from the agency
• License required if applicable
• SSN and driver’s license required for consideration
• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius considered at a reduced rate

Additional Information

• Performs radiographic procedures including positioning and imaging for diagnostic purposes across various settings
• Works both independently and collaboratively with radiology and clinical teams
• Compliance modules must be completed prior to start; approximately 4 hours total
• Teal top and black bottom scrubs required
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Candidates previously employed by the facility must have a 1 year separation before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off must be declared at application and is subject to approval based on facility needs
• During hurricane season (June through November), travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams
