American Traveler is seeking an experienced EP Tech with recent Cath Lab scrub experience and proficiency using Epic for a day shift contract assignment.

Details

• Work in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting
• Required to have Cath Lab scrub experience
• EP Tech experience required
• Day shifts, four 10-hour shifts per week from 8:30 AM to 7:15 PM
• Call required once per week and one weekend every five weeks
• All units use Epic EMR and recent experience with Epic or Epic/Cerner is required
• Candidates within a 100 mile radius are not eligible
• Assignment length is 13 weeks

Requirements

• Completion of a Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) Program or at least 18 months recent experience in an Interventional Cath Lab
• Minimum of 1.5 years continuous experience in the EP Tech specialty
• At least 1 year total travel experience with 6+ months of continuous recent travel experience
• Active AHA BLS certification required
• Recent Epic or Epic/Cerner EMR experience within the last 6 months
• Valid certification documents must be provided for consideration
• One supervisory reference required
• Must agree to the specified call schedule

Additional Information

• Participate in EP procedures and Cath Lab cases as part of a specialized team
• Scrub duties in EP and Cath Lab
• Work collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff
• Candidates can only submit to one job within the health system at a time
• Return policy requires a one year wait before returning to assignment after completion
• Maximum of 7 days requested time off may be approved
• No new requested time off after submission will be accepted
• Interview availability for same day and the next three business days is required
• First-time travelers are not eligible; recent travel experience required
• Return staff and return traveler rules apply to assignment eligibility
