Description

American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Sonographer with experience in performing a variety of vascular ultrasound studies and an active MA license if applicable.

Details

• Position is in a vascular diagnostic lab setting
• Duties include vascular ultrasound exams such as carotid, arterial, venous, and peripheral vascular studies
• Uses Doppler and color-flow imaging to assess blood flow and vascular abnormalities
• Collaboration with physicians, radiologists, and other clinical staff to determine appropriate protocols
• Day shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• EPIC charting system is used

Requirements

• Active MA Vascular Sonographer license required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Experience in a wide range of vascular ultrasound procedures
• Proof of COVID-19 and flu vaccination required with no exemptions permitted
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Maintain and calibrate vascular ultrasound equipment to ensure reliable results
• Prepare and position patients for examinations
• Responsible for collaborating with healthcare professionals regarding ultrasound protocols
• Permanent residence must be at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered a traveler
• Public transportation and paid public parking are utilized at Boston locations
• Timekeeping is managed with UKG/Kronos
• Two professional references are required for consideration
• All time off requests must be declared at the time of application
