American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with at least one year of recent trauma and Siemens CT experience for a night shift assignment.

Details

• Work in a hospital CT unit serving all ages from neonate to older adult
• Night shifts on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 19:00 to 07:30
• Responsibilities include both inpatient and outpatient cases
• Procedures include CT scans of the abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTA, and CCTA (preferred)
• Duties may involve preparation and administration of contrast media, starting IVs, and isolation precautions
• Preferred experience with multiplanar reconstruction, aspirations/biopsies, and drainage procedures
• Uses Siemens CT equipment and Cerner and Epic EMR systems

Requirements

• At least one year of recent CT experience required
• Trauma experience required
• ARRT-CT certification required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Must demonstrate experience with Siemens equipment
• Must be experienced with PACS, and preferred experience with CTA and CCTA procedures
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must have Florida or compact state RT license in hand for consideration (License required if applicable)
• Proof of vaccination status required; no declinations accepted

Additional Information

• Must pass P/F testing including basic and lethal arrhythmia assessment before start
• The hospital is smoke free
• Must complete non-billable online modules and orientation prior to start
• Locals within a 60-mile radius are accepted at a lower rate
• Former permanent employees must have a two-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Expect to interact with a variety of patient populations in a trauma setting
