Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and current BLS and ARRT credentials for a high-volume teaching hospital.

Details

• Work in a hospital with 100 licensed beds, no trauma designation, and stroke center status
• MRI technologist role serving patients from ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings
• Use Siemens and GE MRI scanners and EPIC EMR system
• Schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36-hour shift option is available
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year MRI experience required, with recency in the specialty
• BLS certification is required
• Certification required: ARRT(R), ARRT(N) or NMTCB, along with ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
• Experience with Siemens and GE MRI equipment preferred
• Must provide a photo ID as part of the compliance process
• Must live at least 50 miles from the hospital
• License required if applicable

• Orientation includes online courses and 3-5 days of departmental training, depending on modality
• Black scrubs are required
