American Traveler seeks a Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse with NJ or Compact license and oncology experience for an outpatient Gamma Knife role supporting patient care.

• Outpatient Radiation Oncology setting
• Role focuses on Gamma Knife patient consultations, follow-ups, and treatments
• Day shift schedule (5x8 hours), 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Primarily supports physicians with Gamma Knife procedures
• Serving adult oncology patient population

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• Oncology nursing experience required
• Gamma Knife experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required if applicable
• Proof of full COVID vaccination series and booster required for consideration
• At least one recent (within 1 year) supervisory or manager reference required
• Must pass EKG/medication test if applicable to specialty
• Current Nursys verification required for RNs
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Duties include supporting physicians during Gamma Knife consultations and treatments, as well as patient follow-ups
• Modules are required pre-start during orientation and annually, with specifics varying by specialty
• All required lab work must begin within 2 business days of acceptance
• Prior permanent employees are not eligible for travel assignments
• Local candidates are accepted within a 75-mile radius at a lower rate
