Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and current ARRT (R)(CT) and BLS certifications for a weekend schedule.

Details

• Work in a hospital imaging department serving ED, inpatient, outpatient, and observation patients
• Performs an average of 30 studies per weekday and 14 studies on weekends, including both scheduled outpatients and urgent cases
• Weekend shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• No on-call or floating requirements
• Uses GE Revolution Apex CT scanners and Bayer MedRad dual-head contrast injectors
• EMR is Epic with Epic Radiant for RIS and Philips iSite for PACS

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent CT technologist experience
• Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Must have experience operating GE CT equipment and be able to coordinate and prioritize exams, including routine, STAT, and Code Stroke cases
• Ability to perform post-processing of exams as required
• License required if applicable
• Manager approval required for requested time off

Additional Information

• Weekend position with all scheduled shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Travelers will work holidays that fall within their scheduled shifts
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Orientation includes one day of administrative onboarding and the remainder of the first week for department-specific training
