American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a weekend night shift position requiring ARRT or NMTCB certification and BLS.

Details

• Hospital-based setting with 373 licensed beds including ED, ICU, PCU, and Observation units
• 12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 8:00pm–8:30am
• Weekend-only position with requirements to work 75% of holidays
• No floating, on-call, or call-back requirements
• Patient population includes ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient cases with a significant number of medical device patients
• Average of 33 MRI studies performed per day
• Department utilizes Siemens Vida and GE SIGNA Artist 450W MRI machines
• EMR is Epic, with Epic Radiant RIS and Philips iSite PACS

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology, ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT, or NMTCB required
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work with magnetic field safety for patients and staff
• Capable of imaging patients from admission through results with attention to safety and infection control
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include completing MRI procedures, administering IV contrast per protocol, and ensuring patient identification and safety
• Assist with anesthesia cases and collaborate with department staff during MRI scans
• Support services include guest services for all patient types and a tech assistant during overnight shifts
• Department provides administrative onboarding and up to one week of unit orientation as needed
• Cardiac MRI procedures offered during weekday daytime shifts only
• Black scrubs required
• Free parking available in surface lot or parking decks
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from home unit
