Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and current ARRT-R and BLS certifications for a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.

Details

• Work in a Level I Trauma and teaching hospital with both adult and pediatric patients
• Average daily patient volume of 350-400 spanning ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatient exams
• Weekend night shift schedule: Friday to Sunday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Call requirements rotate fairly among all techs including travelers, with frequency dependent on team size
• No floating required outside of primary department
• Uses Epic EMR and imaging equipment such as Shimadzu RadSpeed, Intelli-C multipurpose, Konica and Shimadzu portables, GE and Siemens R/F rooms
• Traveler contracts are 13 weeks with consistent shift assignment

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year recent experience as a Radiology Technologist
• Current ARRT-R and BLS certifications required
• Ability to work confidently in high patient acuity and fast-paced settings
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude preferred
• Experience with both adult and pediatric patients across a range of radiology procedures
• Must be comfortable using Epic EMR
• License required if applicable
