American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of cardiac cath lab and intervention experience for a day shift position requiring EPIC proficiency.

Details

• Work in a hospital cardiac catheterization lab specializing in interventional cardiology procedures
• Day shifts are 4x10 hours, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call required one night per week and every fourth weekend
• Must work one winter holiday during the contract
• Floating to different units may be required as needed
• Patient care documented in EPIC EMR, prior experience required

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification, BLS, ACLS, and valid KY or compact state license required
• Minimum of 2 years experience in cardiac cath lab with interventional procedures
• At least 1 year of experience required
• Experience with CCL (Cardiac Cath Lab) interventional procedures required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for a travel contract
• Two professional references required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Duties include performing special procedures and interventions in the cardiac cath lab
• Team members participate in on-call rotation covering evenings and weekends
• Completion of computer-based learning modules is required during orientation and annually
• First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
• Returning staff must wait two years before being eligible to travel again
