Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cardiac Echo Technician with at least 2 years of experience and RCS or RDCS certification for an assignment in a radiology ultrasound department.

Details

• Work in a radiology ultrasound setting focusing on adult echocardiography, with optional pediatric and vascular experience
• Uses Philips Epic equipment for imaging
• 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with no on-call requirements at this time
• Expected to float to a nearby facility as needed, located 10 miles away
• Assignment length is 13 weeks with a rotating weekly schedule alternating between 36 and 48 hours

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cardiac Echo Technician
• Current RCS or RDCS certification required
• Active KY or compact state license required (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification (AHA only, front and back of card if not electronic)
• Experience with Philips Epic ultrasound equipment preferred
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• Copy of driver’s license and two references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation is bi-weekly and start date is as listed in the job posting
• Responsibilities include performing adult echocardiograms and optional pediatric or vascular studies as needed
• May be required to provide coverage at a nearby facility depending on unit needs
• Travel pairs are not allowed unless there are many unit needs
