- During hurricane season (June–November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams as needed
- All requested time off must be declared up front; RTO after submission is not accepted and lengthy RTO or holiday dates require approval
- Returning staff must have been separated from the facility for one year before eligibility as a traveler
- Parking requires a $20 registration fee for a parking hang tag valid for a designated garage
