Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel IR Technologist with at least 6 months of current acute care hospital IR experience to work in an interventional radiology department at a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center in the Denver metro area.

Details

• 5-suite Interventional Radiology department equipped with 4 Siemens bi-plane units and 1 Siemens single-plane unit
• Procedures include neuro interventional (strokes, aneurysms, SAH, DVST) and vascular interventional radiology (GIB, embolizations, gastrostomy tubes, nephrostomy, and more)
• Patient ratio of 2 IR Techs and 1 IR RN per suite
• EMR systems include Meditech and GE Centricity PACS
• Alternating shifts: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM and 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
• On-call required: 1 night per week and 1 rotating weekend per month with possible holiday coverage
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital IR Tech experience (experience must be within the last 6 months)
• ARRT RT(R) and current BLS required
• License required if applicable
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center
• Neuro interventional experience (strokes, aneurysms, SAH) is preferred
• Expert knowledge of vascular interventional radiology procedures with minimal guidance is preferred
• Ideal candidate is self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced interventional lab environment
• Strong teamwork orientation expected
