American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 1+ year of vascular experience for a 13-week contract at a Level II Trauma, Level I Peds Trauma acute care hospital in Florida.

Details

• Work in a 4-room IR suite with 3 biplane rooms (3 Siemens units and 1 GE unit)
• Wide variety of cases including stroke intervention, neurointerventions, PE thrombectomy and thrombolysis, DVT interventions, pain management, and oncology procedures (Y-90, MAAs, chemoembolizations)
• Daily caseload of 20–30 cases per tech
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call required
• May float within scope to meet facility needs; no floating to sister facilities required
• Cerner EMR preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of IR tech experience with vascular experience required
• Experience with stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripheral upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, neurological studies, and stroke thrombectomy
• Proficiency with PACS, contrast administration, and biopsies required
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
• Florida state license required (license required if applicable)
• COVID-19 vaccination required; medical and religious exemptions accepted

• 615-bed short-term acute care hospital designated as a Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma center
• Block schedule availability to be discussed during interview if applicable
