American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT advanced certification and at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week outpatient imaging assignment in Fredericksburg, VA.

Details

• Outpatient imaging facility setting
• Daily caseload of 35–40 patients across all age groups
• Typical daily procedures include cardiac imaging (TAVR, CCTA, cardiac screening), abdomen/pelvis, chest, and head CT
• 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays (day off during the week when Saturday is worked)
• No on-call or floating requirements
• GE and Siemens scanner experience preferred
• Charting via Epic

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience
• Current ARRT certification and ARRT advanced CT certification required
• Current BLS required
• Active Virginia RN license required at time of consideration — temporary licenses are not accepted; license required if applicable
• Proficiency with IV starts, phlebotomy, contrast administration, and PACS

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include confirming physician orders, verifying patient identity, obtaining medical histories, and performing CT examinations across all patient age groups
• Must maintain clinical competency through annual completion of a Competency Based Orientation Tool
